Scoliosis even after 30???

Please login or register to post on this thread.

Is it still possible to have Scoliosis even when you are over 30 years of age?

If your scoliosis is neuromascular, meaning you acquired it via trauma, cerebral palsy or other diseases which can cause your spine to curve. It can also be idiopathic meaning it develops as you age...

Supposedly scoliosis is something that is less likely to occur if your bones have already developed fully, so this means lesser for adults. It doesn't mean always that you can't get it. There are other ways to develop scoliosis like Georgina mentioned above.

is this genetic?
