Constipation During Pregnancy

I am 13 weeks pregnant on my first child and have been constipated for the past 8-10wks. I'm eating all the right things, drinking lots of water, exercising - nothing is working. What else can I do? Is this going to get better or worse as I progress through my pregnancy?


Avoid sodas because they actually dehydrate you. Drink twice as much as you have been. Your body is pulling the water out of your food because it needs to manufacture the fluid that the baby is floating in, as well as manufacture the baby itself. Remember that we are mostly made up of water. Since your not drinking enough, your bodys pulling what it needs out of the food you ate. The result Constipation.
