Welcome to Epigee! This site exists as an educational resource for women,
especially those facing unplanned pregnancy. Since 2001, over 1.5 million
visitors have come to this site for information about pregnancy, pregnancy
centers, fetal development, reproductive health, pregnancy options, and
abortion alternatives. Epigee Pregnancy Resource has connected thousands
of women with online crisis pregnancy counselors, and directed many more
to local pregnancy centers and clinics.

Monnica Williams, M.A. Ms. Williams has been interested in women's
health
issues for over 15 years. She has been actively involved in the work of
several pregnancy clinics, including A Woman's Concern in Massachusetts,
The
Pregnancy Centers of Central Virginia, and the Westside Pregnancy
Resource
Center & Clinical Laboratory in Los Angeles, where she served as Lead
Counselor. In 1996 Ms. Williams was designated as "Hometown Hero" by
Citizen
Magazine for outreach work to local family planning clinics.
Ms. Williams has written many articles about reproductive issues, mental
health, and race. She has served on the board of directors of several
non-profit organizations, including the OC and Spectrum Disorders
Association and the Brookline Women's Shelter. Ms. Williams has lectured
on
teen pregnancy and related issues and has been active in helping
non-profit
organizations develop a web presence.
She graduated from MIT in 1992 and worked in the Department of Computer
Science at UCLA until June of 2000. She holds a Master's Degree in
Clinical
Psychology from the University of Virginia, where she is doctoral
candidate
studying anxiety disorders. She is currently a Psychology Intern at
McGill
University Health Centre, Montreal General Hospital site, where she
treats
