is it true that although sit-ups won't loosen your belly fats, it will however make your abdomen more firm?

yeah, try it! putting stress on the muscles (in this case the abs) forces it to develop ie to firm up. it will melt off belly fat though since muscles will replace the fat you burn off while doing situps.

try crunches too! they can firm up those abs
