rice has around 50 for like two tablespoons...potato around the same but it has to be the baked kind.... dunno with the rest :) |

i think if you make their sevings equal then, you will come out with roughly the same calories in these carbs. like aileen said, it is the "add-ons" that make a difference as to their calorie content. plus the number of servings you eat of course! lol! |

so its just plain rice then... personally I like potatoes better, but rice is good from time to time. brown rice is whole grain, so its healthier than white rice... |

people blame carbs for getting fat. but the body needs carbs to function properly. carbs is only bad when it gets stored coz then it becomes fat! |
