hi! ive read quite a few posts here in epigee and it seems that whenever i go to a cancer related thread,smoking seems to be a factor in contributing to many different types of cancer...with this in mind, i hope smokers out there would consider quitting not only to become healthier but to minimize the risk of contacting this disease.

its because of the stuff the tobaco gives off...not to mention other stuff that tobaco manufacturers put in cigarettes!!! they are all carcinogenics so not only are smokers in danger of getting lung cancer but other forms as well...better quit the cancer stick soon!

tobacco smoke when analyzed contains at least 300 different compounds that are listed as known carcinogens. these bits of chemicals in the smoke irritate or force cells to become malignant causing different sorts of cancer all over the body.

i agree with carmen! cigarettes really are cancer sticks!

unhealthy lifestyle like smoking will always end up in cancer :(

This isnt surprising considering how many bad stuff are in cigarette smoke. Plus when you inhale the cigarette smoke, the chemicals go directly to the blood stream which gets distributed all around the body.

smoking really is bad, not only for the heart and lungs but for the whole body too.
