Burned my finger in the oven and burn ointment not doing its job... please give me some ideas for treatment of minor burns. I cook a lot so i get burned from time to time.

We use toothpaste to soothe burns in my house. :)

Aloe Vera is a good burn ointment. So is Cut & Burn ointment.

Well, toothpaste produces a cooling sensation, so maybe... Aloe vera gels are the best for burns though.
