Anger causes heart ailments???

Is it true that anger can raise the risk of one having heart ailments? I am referring to anger that is not expressed and not just being angry. They say that if you have resentment or anger over someone then you should not keep it to yourself. Venting it out to someone or with the object of your anger is a good way to free these emotions that otherwise might be kept inside for a long time and cause unfavorable results later.

Venting reduces stress, so venting is good.

Remember that emotions make the heart beat faster. The harder the heart has to work, the more risk of damage. So all types of negative emotions can have an impact on over all health not just the heart.

There are movies where the actors get heart attacks when they hear bad news. And like Barbie said, bad news and stress always gets the heart pumping!

I used to think that those soaps and drama specials are all, well, just drama. However, I have been a recipient of bad news and it does get the heart racing. Which is why exercise is important coz it also exercises the heart :)

guess you watch a lot of soap huh? well those are just over dramatization. however, its not fun to receive bad news. if your heart is healthy, then it should survive the disapointment.
