i have a question about transmitting syphilis. My gf recently developed a small white bump on her vagina. it looks like a wart but i keep hearing about this syphilis chancres that might look similar? it is basically a white bump. we are not totally exclusive and i had unprotected oral sex with someone else. two days after that encounter was the last time my gf and i had sex, and about 5 days after we had sex we noticed this bump. i don't have any symptoms at all as far as i can tell, and i am wondering if it possible to contract syphilis and pass it on to someone else two days later without/before developing any symptoms of your own? i am planning on getting tested but i am not sure how long i have to wait to do so. is a week and a half long enough to take a blood test? i am very nervous and would really like an answer to this, thanks a lot. reply
