The earliest symptoms are flu-like. Example fever, sore muscles, rashes. Which is probably why it is easy to dismiss. |

and then later on it gets complicated. you can easily catch pneumonia, leukemia and get rashes and feel sick all the time. weight loss is also very common |

Did you see Tom Hanks in Philadelphia? He was so thin and pale and had spots around his body. Plus HIV patients can get sick very easily because of the compromised immune system. |

I like this movie! And while HIV patients do not actually die because of the virus, their weak immune systems increase the risk of other diseases like pneumonia, leukemia and others :( |

yep, saw Philadelphia and Tom Hanks did a good acting job!!! a low T cell count is also a sign of HIV |
