I dont like condoms so my boyfriend and I are thinking about switching to diaphragm. is this effective? what about injectibles and pills?
If you are in a monogamous relationship then a diagphram should be ok as contraceptive. However, I think that the pill and injectibles are safer
I have experience with diaphragms but sometimes at the heat of the moment, they can be a little troublesome to put on, plus unless you are in a monogamous relationship, this does not protect against STD...same with the pill and injectables.
pills are ok. been on BCF for 2 years. I like it. My periods are lighter and so are the cramps.
The diaphragm is effective against pregnancy but not against STD
they are fine as contraceptives.
