While I am very much aware that there is still no cure for HIV and AIDS, are what are their available treatments, how effective are they and how much do they cost?

there are antibiotics and experimental drugs for HIV patients. I dunno how much they cost though.

Yes you are correct. There is still no cure for HIV/AIDS. Experimental drugs as far as it goes are only for volunteer patients. You can't get it over the counter even with a prescription.

The cure for AIDS is still a long way off. Most treatment are also still in the experimental stage.
