Hi, myself and my partner want to start trying for a baby. I've been on the pill for around 5yrs.
I had my last period last week. I took my last pill on 19th sept had my period and stopped on the 24th sept.
I would have been due to start my new pack mon 27th but have decided to stop birth control.
I understand it can take a few months for my body to get back to normal, but would I become fertile straight away?
And as my period ended 24th sept what day would be best to try for a baby?

Advise would be much appreciated? Thanks

Yep, you are fertile right away. The pill stops things from happening. Since you stopped taking the pill, the processes can happen again. The cycle started up right after your period ended.

As for when to have sex? For that I need to know when your last period started. Lets reverse the "standard days method" of birth control to help you out. It says that you are fertile from day 7 to day 20 of your cycle. Day 1 being the first day of your period. Thats a 14 day window. It probably has a safety buffer due to the fact that sperm can live for three days, so I would say to have sex every day from day 11 to day 20.

Looks like your in the post 20th day, safe sex part of your cycle. You will have to catch it on the next go around.
