We have a history of twinning in the family. Can the docotrs tell with just the heart beats? Because I still want it to be a surprise for now
I found out about my twins with ultrasound, but I think I remember the doctor telling me that there were two heart beats, so yes I think that it is possible to tell via the heartbeats.
i think it depends on the babies positions because sometimes fetal heartbeats can be very hard to hear. to make sure, an ultrasound would be your best alternative.
Its hard to tell even with doppler. I think an ultrasound is your best bet!
