I discovered a new trick to help me with my menstrual cramps: going to the gym. You see, i got my period this month while i was in the gym really pushing myself hard. I never noticed that my period had come or that I was cramping. i also did not cramp for the rest of the day and only felt minimal pain during the rest of the cycle.
I know some women can barely stand while they cramp, but for those who can, try going to the gym, it is distracting plus it helps you sleep better!
