kay so. i got my period on septmeber 1st. for the hole week or whatever and im on birthcontrol but i missed like 3 weeks worth of pills because i was at the lake and forgot my pills, but that was in august. and in the 9th of september i had unprotected sex.. and everything was fine but then on the like 15th i started bleeding and i dont know wheather to call it light or medium bleeding and im scared, cause i red that theres this thing where you bleed when the egg attaches to ur uterin wall and all that. and ive been having little cramps. but not like m ivly one where im in pain, and im seriously been like eating so much but i doubt thats due to anything but could i be pregnant? .. HELP ME, Please? :)

The birth control pills should cover you if you began taking the new pack after your period. As for why you had two periods 15 days apart, I'm not certain.

but i herd if u miss one pill you should wait up to 2 weeks before having sex. and ive missed over 3 weeks worth.. i should be smarter then this then too keep missing pills and then having sex but clearly im not.

Since you cant have a period and still be pregnant, anything before your last period doesn't matter. Did you miss any pills since your last period ended? If not, then your covered.

Sorry to hear that about missing the pills this menstrual cycle. That could be a problem.

The pill does several things. First it prevents you from dropping the egg 90% of the time. Then it thickens your cervical mucous making it hard for the sperm to reach the uterus. Lastly it thins the uterine wall. This makes it hard for the egg to implant.

The consequences of missing a pill occasionally depends upon on several factors. Its a bit like gambling. The missed dose could allow thinning of the mucus enough to allow sperm to reach the uterus, but the egg has to have dropped, and The wall has to be thick enough for implantation. Normally the chances of this are fairly low. I think your safe. To raise the chances, You would have had to make several bad decisions in a row, one right after the other. You would have to have sex with a guy within three days of ovulation, and have to forget to take the pill several days in a row, around that time.
