The missed dose could allow thinning of the mucus enough to allow sperm to reach the uterus, but the egg has to have dropped, and The wall has to be thick enough for implantation. Normally the chances of this are fairly low. I think your safe. To raise the chances, You would have had to make several bad decisions in a row, one right after the other. You would have to have sex with a guy within three days of ovulation, and have to forget to take the pill several days in a row, around that time.
