Bipolar and pregnancy

Does anyone know of medications that are safe to take during pregnancy when you have bipolar disorder? Any personal experiences? I recently had a miscarriage at 4 and a half weeks due to, when the doctor believes, one of the medications I was taking. My husband and I want to get pregnant again, but I want to be safe with my medications.

I guess, you better ask your doctor about it to be safe. They are the most reliable people to suggest some kind of medication to you especially that you don't want any abortion again. So, to make sure..ask the advice from the experts.

Well, there is a certain anti depressant that can treat bipolar disorder but, I guess, it should be with the advice of a certain doctor. Just be careful on what medication you will going to have to make sure you will not anymore go through with the process of abortion. That's why it is good that there should be a health professional to monitor your treatment.

It's not easy for a woman who has bipolar disorder to be pregnant at the same time. I can't imagine what will be the effects of it's medication to the baby and how hard the process would be. It takes a lot of sacrifices to be able to complete the nine months of pregnancy.
