Is it true that pregnant women are more prone to bells palsy? If so, how can this be avoided? How is it cured?

yes it is true, although they are not sure yet as to why it affects pregnant women more. some say that it is hereditary.

Im so happy I did not read this post as I tend to be paranoid!

so how to avoid getting bells palsy while pregnant?

I've had Bell's Palsy twice, but not during pregnancy. I've done a considerable amount of research on it. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing you can do to prevent it or cure it. They say to reduce your stress, but if you are pregnant, that is kind of tough!
