Toxic Shock Syndrome

My 30 year old daughter died from Toxic Shock Syndrome in 2009. I spoke to her on the Saturday (my birthday). She was fine and looking forward to an evening out with friends. No-one heard from her on the Sunday, and on Monday her body was found in her flat. That's how suddenly Toxic Shock Syndrome strikes. She was using a Tampax Skirt Tampon. Please take the TSS message on your box of tampons very seriously, and make time to change your tampon often.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's death. Such a young age, with many dreams to filfill. Anyway, It's so not good having to use tampoons. It's really not safe and is not advisable to use during menstrual period. So, I hope other young girls and women out there wiould stop using it too. So that no more young lives will be lost because of it.

Tampons can really absorb blood during menstruation but since it works inside your vagina, makes it so unsafe. So, i just hope other girls and women should avoid using it. Especially if the one using it will not change it every day it really can give so much toxic to the body.

I'm afraid to use tampoons. It's so not safe and quite scary thinking it is placed inside yoour vagina. Oh my!..such really a no! no! for me.

Women who has toxic shock syndrome usually get some seizures, high fever, always vomit and a feeling of diarrhea..
