Sex during your period can cause some issues. It can knock things loose and cause your period to be heavier for a day or so. If your period is very light, the ridge of the penis can scrape the vaginal canal clean like a squeegee, this can cause it to look as if your period has stopped. This usually lasts a day.

If the guy isn't clean, you could get an infection. Im not talking about an STD, Im talking about a simple bacterial infection.

Out of curiosity, What day of your period did you have sex? Beginning, middle, or at the end of it?

The first day that I started spotting, like a normal start to my period, but right after that it stopped. It still hasn't started again and its supposed to end on wednesday. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative but I think it would be way too early to get a possitive result anyways. I also had sex with him on the 18th, but he didn't ejaculate inside of me or even close to it. The only other time would have been directly after my last normal period ended and I think we had a close call then, that would have been on the 8th I believe. My best friend recently got pregnant right before her period too, thats why I'm concerned about the slight chance.
