I stopped taking my bc in march and began ttc with my dh. I had 3 normal cycles in the months after. My last period was in june. I have taken a test every week since my missed cycle as I was instructed to do. I went to the doctor around the 75th day after my last period, and he told me to come back in 3 months if things didn't work themselves out. I found this odd but agreed. He also asked if I had taken a bloodtest and i hadn't. But he didn't order one. Its now around the 110th day and I had some substantial bleeding yesterday morning, but it didn't last very long and nothing today. This is so frustrating! How are we ever going to conceive if I'm not even having a period! And whats with the wonky cycle?

Sometimes it takes a while for your body to rebalance itself after being on the pill. Remember that your cycle is controlled by hormone levels. Your brain senses the amounts in the blood and makes the necessary adjustments, shutting down the hormone production, or pumping in more hormone as necessary. The trouble is that the pill floods your body with its own synthetic hormones. Now after years on the pill, the body has to adjust to the sudden lack.

Eat right and take vitamins so that you have the raw materials. Remember, you cant make bricks with out straw, so make sure that your body has what it needs to produce whatever it has to.

I asked about the Vaccination because many of the current Flu vaccines contain polysorbate 80 in the form of tween 80. polysorbate 80 is fine as a food adative because it breaks down in the stomach, but when injected into the blood stream it can cause sterility in women by damaging the reproductive organs.
