No one really knows what causes late periods. Doctors like to say stress and fatigue, but its my personal belief that its more likely to be chemicals and hormones in your environment. For instance BPA, or Bisphenol A, is in most plastics. Its a synthetic estrogen that leaks out of the plastics when they are heated.
Think about it. That means that every time you microwave something in a plastic bowl or cup, small amounts of estrogen seeps into the food or drink. I believe that chemicals like these are responsible for most of the wacky periods were seeing these days.
I doubt your pregnant, you will simply have to be patent. It will come eventually.
