Hormone Therapy during menopause

What is this hormone therapy replacement for menopause. Is this alright? Why do we need this? Anybody with ideas out there?

The hormones can address menopause symptoms like hot flushes and dryness in the vagina. but women who have hrt are also at risk for heart disease and stroke. but women who take hormone supplements for a short period of time can decrease risk of osteoporosis

I think this has been discontinued because it poses health risks. No clear benefit too.

This was popular in the early to late 90's but they found that there is no real benefit plus it was found that there are several cancers that can start because of HRT so, nope this is not needed.

I think it would be better to stay with the no drugs while menopausing then? I think im for this team too.

its like a double edged sword then! maybe in the future they can come up with a better alternative to this.

MY aunt went through HRT but stopped since she found the constant monitoring quite restrictive.

Heard about this. I think they took off the drugs off the market. As they say, if it ain't broke, dont fix it!
