when can I start it?

A few years ago I took the pill as a way to regulate my period and I practiced abstinence. Now I'm in a healthy relationship and have become sexually active. I recently had a check up done and received a prescription for Sprintec and according to the package I can start my birth control pill on the Sunday after my period starts OR I can i take it on the day my period actually starts.

What I want to to know is could I just pick a day to start it instead of waiting for my period to arrive? Any answers would be helpful.

Hello friend! It's good to know that you asked. In using sprintec birth control, you need to follow what's written on its prescription. You just can't have pick or choose any day you want to start taking the pill. If you make your own schedule, this birth control pill probably won't work the way you want it. You might also be getting some side effects which you don't want to happen.

Yes, it's good that you follow what is written in the prescription because what's the purpose of having when you set your own rules in taking it. You are putting yourself to a higher risk. So, it's like you are following the doctors orders..because you know it's for the best.

Well, for me, better if you ask your doctor when are you going to start the sprintec birth control. Doctors know about that thing more than any other person and more than yourself.

Surely the best person that can give you the exact details on when are you going to start the birth control pills called sprintec is the doctor or the health specialists themselves. So, have a consultation with them as soon as possible, so that you will be given exact answers to your question.
