Hello! I was wondering if somebody could recommend a good method for birth control? My OB-GYN has given me some birth control pills but I am uncertain as to having more hormones in my body.

Can Somebody please give me their honest opinion as to injectables, diaphragms, spermicides are better or worse than birth control pills?

I appreciate it!

Thanks you!

My long-time partner withdraws before he ejaculates if he doesn't want to wear a condom. I agree that having a guy wear one is not very fun for them all the time. We have agreed though that he must wear one most of the time. I don't want to use birth control pills for fear of some side effects.

Abstinence is one. And it is the safest as well. ;)

Well, I have been on the pill for almost 10 years now. I started when I was 22. I always go to the OBGYN 2x a year for pap smear. I also switched brands around three times already to lower the dosage. So far so good for me!

My BF and I use condoms. They are dependable and cheap

Birth Control Patch is good. Accordingly, it has lower risk of side effects compared to those taken orally.

You can try diaphragm, but sometimes it just too fussy to put on. There are also injectables that work the same way as BCPs but you only need a shot once every three months. But i personally recommend the BCP. the hormones in there also occur in our body and they are very good in preventing pregnancy.
