Hmm...we live in a pretty stressful environment which is probably why heart disease is on top...and we live longer than males too which is why we are more susceptible to Alzheimers |

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease refers to emphysema and chronic bronchitis. You get this from smoking. Yep for the cancer its breast then cervical that kills women. |

#3 is a shocker, but considering the number of women who smoke, then I guess the numbers are true! |

i always thought breast cancer would top this list, not heart disease! but i would imagine this is true since lots of women are obese or do not exercise. lots of women also have high blood pressure which contributes to heart disease. |

Aside from breast cancer, what other cancers are women most prone to? |

Yes, this list came as a surprise to me because I always thought that breast cancer was the no 1 killer. I guess heart disease makes sense considering that lots of women are obese, stressed, smoke and all the other factors that contribute to it. Its just that breast cancer is over emphasised which is why I thought it was the no1 killer. |

Its the same with the guys. The No. 1 killer for guys is heart disease too. I guess this is because of lifestyle choices. |
