Hello, I am perimenopause and my cycles are getting longer and periods heavier. I fainted lastnight while passing a menstrual clot, then was sweating profusely. It scared the bejesus outta my husband, he heard a loud THUD & found me in the bathroom laying on the floor. Anybody else have this happen to them? I was checked for Anemia earlier this year and I did not have it.

Blood loss can cause anemia. Especially if you aren't taking in the nutrients that your body needs to replace the blood cells. I recommend a visit to the GYN to rule out the possibility of issues. You said "While Passing a clot" That made me think of a kidney stone. Why did you use that term? was there pain involved? Any pain or bleeding during intercourse?

Even during menopause there shouldn't be.
