i hope i'm not on the wrong site, but i am a male and have a question regarding herpes. i'm a 44 yo single male who gets an occasional cold sore so i'm going to assume that it is hsv1. i have recently started seeing a wonderful woman who told me that she had genital herpes that came about from a previous relationship. i'm assuming, for the sake of arguement, that it is hsv2. i would love to be able to please her with oral sex, but she is very concerned about this and what could happen to me : ) she is a wonderful woman! my question is, since i already get cold sores periodically ( and they are very effectively treated with banadyne 3- available online), if i did perform oral sex on her could i get hsv2 orally, and would it be any different than what i get now with periodic cold sores? reply
