Pelvic Inflammatory Disease - PID is an std but ive never heard of it before. what are its symptoms?

yes it is an std and some of its most common symptoms are: abdominal pain and abnormal menstural bleeds. this can cause infertility. teenagers usually get PId through unprotected sex

NO, technically it is not really a STD, but rather a cause of having one.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease is a general term used for infections to the uterus, fallopian tubes, as well as other reproductive organs. It is caused by bacteria but is mostly associated with chlamydia & gonorrhea.

Untreated PID can make you infertile!

Ok I didn't know that it is a resulting inflammation from having a sexually transmitted disease. Thanks for all the info!!!
