Except for HIV are most STDs cureable? Or once you have it, its there in you forever...just laying dormant til it re-awakens or is trigger by something else.

Many are curable. Some you may not be aware you have it will manifest later in life.

Probably, but the scars and trauma will stay with you forever so protect yourself at all times!

most of them are. but some like syphilis stay with you forever....

So syphilis has NO CURE, is that correct? Are there many forms of syphilis or are they all the same? Like maybe there are just mild ones which may still be treated...

syphilis can be cured using antibiotics. if you do not get it treated, it can ravage your brain and leave you with dementia later in life.

many STD's have cures. gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis can be fixed with antibiotics and other medicines.

those that are viruses like HIV, HPV and Herpes have no "cure" but can be treated and suppressed with medicine.
