How can I take care of myself and my baby if I have gestational diabetes?

sugar levels should always be monitored. doctors will also suggest a nutritional plan to manage the diabetis. i think they also give insulin but i am not too sure.

it was my sister who had this and she is not here right now so i am not sure as to how she handles it. but she still monitors her sugar all the time.
