cramps are caused by protaglandins to induce muscles to contract in order to shed the lining. pain varies from woman to woman. you can try either a heating pad/hot water bottle or you can use meds like ibuprofen or tylenol to help with the pain. |

There are lots of ways to manage menstrual cramps and lot of ways to ease the pain. Aside from the hot water and heating pads, you can drink chamomile tea. Its nature's pain reliever. You can also soak in the tub...very relaxing or get a massage. |

i have that too, regularly had to miss school/work on the first day. see your doctor and be insistent they give you something for it, otherwise you'll suffer in silence. |
