I had my periods on Oct 28 th. Eversince then i haven`t had my periods. I am 42. After doing blood test on my day 2 and day 11 of my period and also doing a test in the radiology after giving me Clomid on my day 5 of period -- all my fertility Doctor had to say to me that my Ovaries do not function any more and that is the reason i can`t get pregnant. So my question is that : Should i go for a second opinion, as i do not want to give up and loose hope.

Hello Fife,

Yes, you should get a second opinion and even a third! 42 is late to have a child but until you feel that you can stop, then I think you should still continue.

I agree with Joycelynn. Doctors are not impervious. A fertility specialist should know more about this than an OBGYN.
