After being on the pill so long it most likely will take longer for your body to return to normal and probably longer to conceive. Normally it takes a few months to return to normal, but there's really no way to be sure. I don't think there's any risk of the baby having any health issues, but that's a good question for your doctor. I'd like to recommend a good read: Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Dr. Toni Weschler. It's about the FAM method and could help you conceive. It can also be used as a natural method of birth control. |

I was on the pill for about 4 months then stopped for 9 months now. I am trying to conceive but after stopping the pills, I have started having premenstrual symptoms which i never had before the pills. My periods for the past 9 months would come after 32-39 days which I normally have 28-30 days. I know I did not take it long but so many changes after taking it for a very short time. Can I even get pregnant? |
