Well, it is very difficult to get pregnant if you use an IUD (also known as IUC). I think about the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is to have a pregnancy test done. Go to your local family planning clinic such as Planned Parenthood and they can give you a pregnancy test either for free or very low cost.

Hi,
I had an IUD inserted on the 7th of October and then on the 27th of October i had my period heavy, painful and lasted for 6 days. Less than 2 weeks since my last period on the 13th I have the period again very heavy flow with severe period pains, is this normal i am afraid i may be anaemic, i also dont feel good, should i see the doctor i am thinking of having it removed
