Hi, about 7 or 8 years ago I had symptoms which I believe to be signs of gonerhea. Myu partner at the time swore to me he had never had an std, and I was stupid and naive enough to trust him. I have become more concerned as I am in a long term relationship. I now seem to have to urinate continually 15 times or more a day and it is really upsetting me. I had a urine test done but it came back fine.
When I had this infection years ago, I felt as if I had the flu, I felt really unwell and nausues. I had swollen neck glands , I had ulcers in my mouth and my lips swelled up really badly and this took 2 weeks before it went away. Later on I then had what I now know as coldsores frequently and an abnormal discharge which was a yellowish or greenish color. I know this sounds like an std and I thought all thsoe years ago that a smear test would come up poistive, but I now know it not tested for. If this really is the case, does it mean that the std is still in my body and I have infected my partner even thought was years ago.
Would I be able to have children or am I sterile now. I am really frightened about this and I know it was really naive at the time to not have a test done. Would I need medication to remove the infection if it is still in my body.
