Help would be appreciated

I just started using birthcontrol and my doctor told me it would be effective after 7 days and Im aware that you have to take it around the same time everyday. Today was my 9th day and I usually take it at 4 but it slipped my mind and I ended up taking it at 4:30..is that to drastic of a time difference...should i take the morning after pill just to be safe and make sure that I dont get pregnant?
