very late period

I'm 37 yrs. old. I have never missed a period, except for my last 2 pregnancies and while I was breastfeeding my babies.  My LMP began on June 30, 2008 and my cycle is about 33 days.  I've had unprotected sex about 3 times that I could remember (July 6, around Aug 8, and on Aug. 20). I have taken 2 home tests about 7 days apart and they were both negative. What could be happening with my body?
