I had a motor vehicle accident and never had my period again?? I'm 45.

I AM 45 IN GOOD HEALTH I HAVE NOT HAD MY PERIOD IN 20 MONTHS. MY DOCTOR SAYS "YOU'VE MADE IT"
HE SAYS THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE OVULATION, NO MORE WORRIES ABOUT GETTING PREGNANT. ALTHOUGH I TRUST HIM, IN THE BACK OF MY MIND I STILL AM WORRIED THAT THIS COULD STILL HAPPEN.

I have been having major bloating 2weeks before my period 15 lbs.at least. have been think about taking water pills is this safe I am a young looking 49er. also when I go through my menoupase will the weight come off .I have never really had to worry much about my weight I was always underweight. now I look like a water ballon What I have noticed the weight just come on after I missed 2 periods when I was 43 . 115 and now I weigh 145. will it come off aftermenoupause. help.

Getting menopause at 45yrs is common.
