My doctor has just told me that I have anemia. I am also two months pregnant. I am taking folic acid and iron supplements and all that stuff, but I am wondering if my anemia will harm my baby.

as long as you are taking the iron supplements and prenatal supplements, following a healthy diet and just are generally healthy and getting better, it shouldn't harm your baby. Just make sure you keep taking those iron pills so you stay healthy!

Try taking O.J. with your Iron supplements(on an empty stomach). it helps your body absorb more iron.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and I was told I don't have anemia but now my doctor wants to re-test me because I am more tired now (in the second trimester) than I was in the first trimester. I also experience dizziness and periods of being lightheaded. None of it will effect the baby unless something happens to me personally or if I continue to let it go on. The thing is, I have been doing "everything right" and I still may have it. I think as long as your doctor is aware of what's going on, there is not much you can do that you are not doing already. P.S I hate those darn suppliments...they make me so queasy!
