QUESTION
menstruation no more
|
The last few months i haven't been getting my period. I know that i am not pregnant as I have never had sex. I feel fine - no pain, nausea, or anything. I am 18 years old, and have been having my period since I was 12. Shouldn't it be normal by now? I am kind of confused as to why my period is on vacation - anyone else have the same problem?

Things to consider when you haven't gotten your period in a couple of cycles.... Did you have it regularly before? (ie every 26-34 days) Have you lost a lot weight recently? Have you began exercising a lot in the past months? Has a stressful event happened recently?
If any of the last three have happened; they can cause your body to stop having a period. Your body kind of goes in "shock" mode. If you haven't had your period after six months you'll need to see a doctor. I had to; until then try to wait it out. ..hope this helps. C.j.

This has happened to me too, it's been well almost 7, (January 4th). I haven't really been that stressed, and i've gained a little wait, i'm not sexually active, haven't lost any wait, not alot of exercise. I read that sometimes this can mean cysts. Is this true?

I get off the pill (triphasil) Dec 2005, Jan and Feb 2006 normal period and always coming on the same day around the 6 of 7 of each month. Have a smear test in 3 Jan 2006 which was normal.
March, April and May nothing I had nine preg. test so far which is negative, just got a phone call form my GP that my test done on 9 May is negative.
I am 33 and trying for a second baby as my daughter is 8 years old. I had tender breast, vomitting only once but for March and April totally tired and nausea and feel bloated sometimes abdomal cramps. Now I am worried what must I do next.

I stopped having my period 3 years ago. I am 22 years old, and no doctor gives me the same reason. However, I was told that not having a period is not a serious problem. It is only is your period is excessive that you should worry. The only problem I have is I have been with my husband for 2 years and we have not gotten pregnant. Birth control pills make me have a period, but I get exteremly sick when I take them! Any suggestions I would apprecite, but looks like we are all in the same boat!
