rhythm method

I have heard about the rhythm method from my pastor. He says it is foolproof and that i won't get pregnant if i use this method. I can't use condoms or birth control because of my religion. Has the rhythm method worked for anyone else?

The rhythm method is no good unless your cycle is exactly 28 days long every month. Consider the standard days natural method at http://www.epigee.org/guide/sdm.html
